One thing which has exercised us since we've been in the Gelato making business is the number of people coming into the parlour with allergies etc. Whether they have a nut, milk, peanut, soy, egg or gluten allergy - or adhere to a vegan diet - it has been our quest to provide products which they can eat and enjoy.
A simple thing like being able to enjoy an ice cream or sorbet in a cone is quite an event for those with a gluten intolerance (we have had several people 'over the moon' at discovering we stock gluten-free cones) and, for others with a milk allergy, being able to have Chocolate gives them a great day (we started making chocolate sorbet for just those people - but for some others it is actually now their preference over the dairy alternative!).
Now you will always find a choice of several sorbets in our cabinet - and more which we keep in the freezer through lack of space in the cabinet. Have a look at our 'Sorbet' page and you will find a lot of fruit sorbets - all made with natural ingredients, containing nothing artifical, and 'free' from everything allergenic. (Including Chocolate sorbet!)
